Join us after our monthly potluck for a boat landing cleanup! All Souls Waccamaw has adopted Socastee Landing through the Waccamaw Riverkeeper’s Adopt-a-Landing program. Volunteers are needed to clean up trash around the boat landing, both on land and in the water. Bring your work gloves and kayak if you have one! This is a family-friendly event and there is a play area with picnic tables in the park.

Directions to Socastee Landing: From ASWUU’s parking lot, turn right onto Highway 707, then left at Dick Pond Road near Socastee High School. Pass River City Cafe on the left, cross the swing bridge, and then make a left onto Peachtree Road. When you see the Kenzgar housing development on the left, get ready to take the next left into the Socastee Landing parking lot.

Join us for our monthly packing party. Donations welcome throughout the month.

You may think of your period as an annoyance but can you imagine not having pads/tampons every month? Did you know that feminine hygiene products are the least donated products to homeless shelters? Did you know that many girls in our schools do not have access to these necessities? For many the implications of living without these necessary supplies are serious… it’s the difference between attending school or work, between peace of mind and humiliation or between infection and health.
